Ann Ayres passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born in Brenham, Texas, to Lillie Mae Adams Edwards and Clarence Edwards. Raised in El Paso, Ann graduated from Austin High School in 1954. She attended Texas Western College, pledging Delta Gamma Sorority. In addition to her dedication to her students, she was devoted to her family and friends, who appreciated her sweet nature and quick humor.
