Dolores Urrutia

Dolores Urrutia passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, just days shy of her 92nd birthday. Born on December 13, 1932, Dolores lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family and the Lord. Dolores is survived by her loving children: Lisbeth Catherine Pacheco, Ruben Urrutia Jr. (Sarah Urrutia), and James Urrutia (Amanda Urrutia). She was the proud grandmother of Michelle Pacheco Lester (Robert Lester), Christopher Pacheco, Desiree Pacheco (Luis Najera), Matthew Pacheco, Sienna Urrutia, Autumn Urrutia, Victoria Urrutia, Alex Wright, James Nicholas Urrutia and cherished great-grandchildren, Andrew, Dominic, Bobbi-Rose, Chance, Donae', Emma and Mateo. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Ruben Urrutia Si., her mother Catalina Martinez, brother Salvador Martinez, and her dear sisters, Emma Osmond, Eva Nava, and son-in-law Arturo Pacheco. Dolores longed for the day she would be reunited with them, and now her soul is at peace in their company. A devoted Catholic, Dolores dedicated her life to serving the Lord and being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She expressed her faith and creativity through piano playing and artistic talents. Her unwavering love and care for her husband, children, and grandchildren were the cornerstone of her life. Dolores will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she has been reunited in Heaven with her loved ones, whom she missed so dearly every day. Services to honor Dolores's life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 750 Carolina, El Paso, TX. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 PM, Friday, December 13, 2024 at Santo Niño De Atocha Catholic Church, 210 S. Clark. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
