Domingo Gonzalez, 91, passed away April 21, 2016 surrounded by those he lived for and loved most, his children. He was preceded in death by parents, Herlinda and Francisco Gonzalez; sister Francisca, brother Cuco and beloved grandson, Andrew. He is survived by his wife Otilia, daughter, Linda Gonzalez-Hensgen (Pete), sons, Frank Gonzalez (Maria) and Jose Martin Gonzalez (Margaret); grandchildren, Lisa, Amanda, and John Paul; step-grandchildren, Zoe and Andrew and great-grandchild Ryan; as well as many other loving members of his family.He worked hard to provide for his family his whole life; taking great pride in the success of his children. Mingo loved music; known for his, singing, playing the guitar and piano, and following his sons wherever they may be playing.The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Bienvivir Alzheimer’s Unit. Their dedication to providing loving and quality care over the last two years was a blessing to the entire family. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Dakota. Funeral mass will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 29, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
