Donald Eugene Thurston

Donald Thurston, 96, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2022. A native of Illinois, he was a World War II combat veteran and went on to serve 20 years in the Army. After retirement Donald worked for Raytheon at White Sands Missile Range for 6 years. He then started Best TV, a successful business which he sold before starting a 20-year career as an Electronics Instructor at El Paso Community College, retiring in 1997.

He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosina Thurston; daughter Susan Baker of Marysville, California; sons John and Joseph Thurston of Houston, Texas and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
