Dora Natalia Gutierrez

Dora N. Gutierrez, 82, went home with our Lord on Friday November 2, 2018. Dora retired in 2000 from YISD. She was a devout Catholic and member of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Salomon and Fabiana Silvas, one brother Ramon Silvas, three sisters, Corine Iglesias, Julia Baeza, and Margarita Ponce. She is survived by her daughter Ida M. Rivera, her son Bobby Gutierrez and wife Irene, five grand daughters, Veronica Judee Lucero Torres, Monic Ortiz-Carbajal, Erica Saiz, Alyssa Gutierrez, Marissa Gutierrez, 8 great grand children, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Bobby Carbajal, Roger Baeza, Victor Escarsega, Jacob Lucero, Eddie Rodriguez, Roy Saiz, Michael Lucero, Michael Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers: Bobby Gutierrez, Lionel Baeza Jr., Elijah Saiz, and Danny Torres. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Mission). Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
