Singer and song writer Edmund D Thomas, life-long resident of El Paso, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. Ed is predeceased by parents Ruby Opal and Joseph G. Thomas and step-son Worth Annunziato. Ed is survived by wife, Diane Louise Thomas; brother Joseph Kirk Thomas, Dallas, TX; sister Cina T. Poyer (Jeff), Covington, LA ; sister Ruby Carla Thompson (Ben), Round Rock, TX; sister Lisetta F. Thomas, Fort Worth, TX; step-daughter Angela Talbert (Tim), Norfolk, VA; and cousins and nieces. Visitation is 4:00 until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10 at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral is Wednesday, April 11, at 12:30 PM, with burial following in Evergreen East Cemetery. Ed will be remembered by all that knew and loved him for his passion for music, his joy in performing, his talent, and his great sense of humor. Rest in peace dearest husband and brother.
