Eduarda Mavy

Eduarda Ojeda Mavy, also known as Lala, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2016 at the age of 90 at Oasis Nursing Home in El Paso. She was born on October 12, 1925 and is survived by her daughter, Gloria O. Mavy; son, Pablo Mavy; grandchildren: Virgilio Perez, Esteban Perez, Adrian J. Perez, Gloria Perez, Christopher Mavy, Mario Mavy, Argelia Mavy. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Elsmore Christopher Mavy. Before being called home to God, Eduarda valiantly fought her congenital heart failure illness alongside her loving family, although none of us could be there the night of her death, she passed in her sleep and sent her final goodbyes to us spiritually. She will always be remembered through the family's thoughts, love, and prayers. The family will express their love and appreciation for Eduarda one last time. Visitation will be from 4-9pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7pm, Monday, February 29, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will take place at 9:00am, Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 at the Little Flower Catholic Church, 171 Polo Inn Rd. Interment will be Private.
