Edward Weston Davis was born February 9, 1923 in Nogal Mesa, New Mexico to Sully Wiley Davis and Sylvia Lamay Davis. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 59 years, Bernice Arlou Davis; and son, Harold Hudson. He is survived by his sister, Mayme; daughters, Debra and Barbara; son-in-law David; grandchildren, Danielle (Zac) and Stephanie (Eric); great grandchildren, Chandler Weston and arriving soon Loralei; and his dog, Sadie. Eddie’s early life was one surrounded by family in Nogal, Mesa where his father and mother farmed during the depression and where he developed a love of Ford automobiles. He volunteered for the Navy shortly after December 7, 1941 and served until 1945. In 1946, he married Arlou and they moved to El Paso where he started his career in the automotive business spending 46 years as a service manager with Fulwiler Ford, El Paso Ford and Casa Ford. Eddie and Arlou were also active members in the El Paso Horseless Carriage Club and The Model T Club of El Paso. Eddie was a wonderful person who was loved and respected by many. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was an inspiration to everyone around him and he will be greatly missed, but will never be forgotten.
