Edward Martin Escobar

February 22, 1994 — February 8, 2024

El Paso

Edward Martin Escobar, known to his loved ones as Eddie, passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 29. Eddie was born on February 22, 1994, in San Bernardino, CA. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Aria and Amelia Escobar, his wife Micaela Escobar, his sister Mitzelle Escobar, his mother Beatriz Escobar, and his father Joseph Escobar.

While completing his education at Mission Early College High School, Eddie pursued higher education at El Paso Community College. Following his passion for serving his country, Eddie joined the Navy, where he served as a Nuclear Electronics Technician aboard the USS Carl Vinson. His expertise and dedication made him an invaluable asset to the Navy nuclear program.

Upon completing his military service, Eddie embarked on a successful career as a Generation Dispatcher in the renewable energy industry. His commitment to his career, charisma, and larger than life personality earned him the respect and friendship of his peers.

Outside of his professional life, Eddie enjoyed weight lifting and taking immaculate care of his dream car, a ZL1 Camaro. Always hand washed, and detailed with precision. He loved taking people for a spin in his "baby".

More than anything however, he enjoyed building strong relationships with his loved ones. Eddie was a hard worker and found immense joy in being a provider for his family. Eddie was a devoted father and his love for his children was evident in everything he did. He took pride in the life that he was able to give his girls. If there is one thing that can be said without a doubt, it is that Eddie was "that" father. The father that wanted to spend all his time with his daughters. Making them happy made him happy. He wanted them to want for nothing. They were the most important thing to him.

Family meant the world to Eddie. He loved family gatherings and could always be found smiling, laughing, telling stories, and giving out lots of love. He never left before trying to make plans for the next gathering.

Eddie was generous and enjoyed giving his time to others. Whether it was a place to stay, gym tips, navigating career choices, helping someone to overcome an obstacle, or just offering a listening ear. He was ready and willing to offer a helping hand to his friends and family.

Eddie was loved immensely by many. There are no words to express how dearly he is missed.
