Eileen Ann Jones

EILEEN ANN JONES passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the age of 91. Mrs. Jones was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was always giving of herself to her family. She was a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College and continued her career as a medical administrative specialist for Dr. Turner for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed being a member of the El Paso Sungold Chorus of Sweet Adelines International and educating children of the catholic faith as a Catechism Leader. All that knew and loved her will miss her deeply but rejoice that she is now with the Lord and so many loved ones that passed before her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years James Aloysius Jones. She is survived by her children Eileen Haggren, Christine Akram, Jimmy Jones, Eddie Jones, along with their spouses, Ingvar, Munir, Ann and Elia, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Vigil Service at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Rite of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:30AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30PM.
