Rancher, born in Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico. He migrated to the United States with his family in 1965.

Mechanical Supervisor for PET INC. and Ashley Canning Companies.

Retired to his Ranch "Cerro Blanco". He entered into eternal rest January 9, 2025, 5 days shy of this 93rd birthday, in Chaparral, NM. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ernestina Nuñez Ramos; sons Jose and Cruz. Parents, Cruz Ramos Nieto and Manuela Payen Ramos.

Survived by his sons, Elco (Rosa), Sergio (Pamela), Samuel  (Susana Lilia) and daughter, Patricia Ramos Carrillo (Rodolfo). Brothers, Regino, Hiram. Sisters, Manuela Ramos Galan and Abisue Ramos Linn. Leaving behind his grandchildren Elco, Kymberly Ann, Valerie Mae, Cruz Andres, Elena, Rodolfo II, Samuel, Laura, Norma, Susi, Emilio, Arim, Celia and Judith. 16 great grandchildren to honor and cherish his memory. Elco was very loved and will always be missed.

A Visitaton will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Celebration of Life starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home-  Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
