Elmer Gilbert Nichols

Elmer Gilbert Nichols, 87, was born in Endicott, New York on January 26, 1931 to Elmer Fred Nichols and Dorothy Evelyn Nichols. He passed away in El Paso, Texas on November 30, 2018. He served our country in the United States Army for over 20 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Sophia Lee Nichols; daughter, Teresa and her husband John Curry; son, Kevin and his wife Vickey Nichols and sister, Beverly Flore; grandchildren, Cody, Valerie, and Michael Nichols and Heather Curry; Great Grandchildren, Caleb Heredia, Logan and Cole Nichols. He and his wife faithfully attended Christ Community Methodist Church in El Paso, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Service will begin at 1:30pm on Thursday, December 6, 218 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 2:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
