Elvira V. Rodriguez

Elvira V. Rodriguez left us on July 21, 2015, with her family by her side; in El Paso, Tx. She is a lifelong resident of El Paso and graduate of Bowie High School. Elvira retired from the city of El Paso. Some of her hobbies included baking for her family and playing board games with her Sisters. Her giving nature made her a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and dedicated Wife. Many are left to carry on her loving memory. They include her five Sons and their Wives; Alfred and Debra, Robert and Norma, Jim and Brenda, Gilbert (John) and Gloria, Michael and Lillian Rodriguez. Elvira’s greatest treasures were her 8 Grandchildren: Erica, Kelli, Daniel, Alyssa, Madison, Taylor, Jocelyn and Braden. She is survived by her loving Sisters, Julie Perez, Toni Calderon, and Rosa Galindo, her twin Carmen Ruacho and Brother John Valerio. Elvira was preceded in death by her Husband of 56 years Alfredo Rodriguez, Mother and Father Julia, Juan Valerio Brothers Manny, Joe and Angel Valerio. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 5-9 PM, Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 25, 2015 at 12:30 PM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with the Interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
