Ema Moriel Holguin

Ema Moriel Holguin, age 85, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 06, 2023. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Ema is preceded in death by her parents; Gabriel Moriel and Maria De Los Angeles Bolivar, as well as her devoted husband; Carlos Humberto Holguin who entered into eternal rest on July 06, 2011.  She is survived by her children; Cesar Carlos Holguin, Geraldo Holguin, Elizabeth Valenzuela, Irma Socorro Luna, and Gladys Holguin Moriel, her grandchildren; Geraldo Holguin Jr., Daniel Valenzuela, Humberto Valenzuela, JoAnn Holguin, Gabriel Valenzuela, Amaro Luna, and Priscilla Luna, 7 great-grandchildren, as well as beloved pets; Tory, Maya, and Gordo. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, July 17, 2023 with a Prayer Service to commence at 6:30pm, at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 4006 Hidden Way. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:45am at Memory Gardens of Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
