Erle David Drumheller

Erle D. Drumheller, 83, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 with his family at his bedside. Born in Lynchburg, VA on August 23, 1930 to Ulysses E. Drumheller and Lucy Pearl Pickral, Erle joins his wife of nearly 61 years, Nancy J. Drumheller in eternal life. A proud American, Erle was active duty in the Virginia National Guard for 13 years. Moving to El Paso in 1962, Erle became an instructor in missile system electronics at Biggs Air Field. He began work with RCA at Holloman Air Force Base and traveled the US moving radar systems. He retired from DynCorp in 1995. Erle, now reunited with Nancy, is survived by his son Jim and wife Diana; daughter Wanda and husband David Helgesen; grandsons: Reigh and wife Yakzini, Mike and his wife Crystal, and Phillip; and great grandchildren: Jimmy, Nathan, Nadya, Martin, Leland, Kenny, Mickey, Joey, Matthew, Noah, and Shyla. Memorial Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment is Private.
