Esperanza Blackwell, 92, laid to eternal rest on July 15, 2022. She is survived by nephew; Roger Blackwell along with other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; James Blackwell. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, August 02, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, August 03, 2022 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette. Interment to follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
