Estella O. Lujan

Estella O' Hara. Lujan, born on October 31, 1925, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2016. Born to Michael and Estella O'Hara, she lived in Marfa,33 years and in El Paso, Texas for 57 years. Estella's gentle and kind spirit radiated in everything she did for her family: Whether cooking her famous recipes or creating her home remedies, Estella's priority was her family - and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel P. Lujan, daughter Diana, three brothers Eddie,Michael Jr. and William O'Hara. She is survived by her son Daniel ; her daughter Linda Chavez, and two brothers Henry and Frank O' Hara. Grandchildren Janel, Danny, Viola, Carina, Mark, and Crystal , four great-grandchildren Lilliana, Santiago, Davianna, and Gianella and nieces, nephews. Pall bearers: Daniel Lujan, Omar Lujan, Mark Chavez, Bernardo Gonzalez, Johnny Arce. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
