Esther G. Escarcega

Esther G. Escarcega, 66, was called home Wednesday, July 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Rosa and Joe Galindo and will return to them to rest at their side. She is survived by her son, Paul; daughter, Beatrice; and grandchildren: Joseph, Benjamin and Erin. She was married to Antonio Escarcega for 18 years. She retired from YISD where she worked as a Home Liason and Teachers Aid. She spent more than 20 years volunteering within the district. She will be remembered by all for her warm generous nature, her selflessness and her compassionate spirit. Esther will be dearly missed by all she touched, but will continue to live in our hearts and memories. Till we meet again... Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. A Funeral Mass will be said at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2013 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter. Interment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
