Felipe Gonzalez

Felipe Gonzalez, 61, a brave warrior, fell and rose on the wings of eagles to our Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2016. He was born on August 18, 1955 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico to Rogelio and Maria Gonzalez. Felipe honorably served our country in both the US Air Force and Army rising to the rank of Sergeant. After his service in the military he continued life as a mechanic. He is survived by his wife Janeth, son Fernando, grandchildren Amron and Zoe, brothers Jose (wife Ceci), Luis (wife Irina), Jesus (wife Rosa), and sister Maria Perales (spouse Carlos). He was as preceded in death by his parents Rogelio and Maria Gonzalez, his sister Martha Medina (spouse Juan), and his bother Dr. Rogelio Gonzalez Jr. (wife Bobbi). Visitation will be on 5-9 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday November 4, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
