Fernando “Fernie” Laca, 65, entered eternal rest on January 1, 2024. He was born in El Paso, Texas, on September 12, 1958. He later married his loving wife, Isela Laca. Fernie was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who was always joking and being the life of the party. It was easy for him to be loveable. You knew exactly where you stood with him, whether his good or bad side. He spent most of his time making sure everyone had a smile on their face. Making funny faces, playing practical jokes, and yelling at the TV when the Cowboys were playing was how he lived and will be remembered. There was never a dull moment when Fernie was around. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Isela; his sons, Fernando Laca Jr. and Nicolas Laca; and his daughter, Lorraine Laca. His brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins will indulge in his memories by keeping them alive. Although he is no longer here with us physically, he will continue to watch over his family spiritually, ensuring their protection and memories are everlasting. Visitation will take place from 4:00 - 8:00 PM with Rosary at 6:00 PM on Monday, January 08, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass.
