Fernando Efren Ramos, 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2015 after a long illness. Mr. Ramos is preceded in death by his son, Fernando J. Ramos. He is survived by his wife, Maria Ramos; daughter, Magdalena Ramos; son, Robert Ramos; and 7 grandchildren: Angel Gonzalez, Ricardo Bustamante Jr., Joseph Bustamante, Marisa Ramos, Melanie Gardea, Mathew Gardea and Alan Fernando Salazar. Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 602 S Oregon St. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home East.
