Fidel Martinez

Fidel Martinez, age 86, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed. Fidel is preceded in death by his dearest parents; Jose Guadalupe Martinez and Ancelma Balderas; his sisters; Maria De La Luz, Magdalena Martinez; and his wonderful son; Enrique Martinez. He is survived by his loving wife; Ascencion Martinez; his children; Lupita Martinez Burgeno, Fidel Martinez Jr. (Blanca), David Martinez (Hilda), Julia Martinez, Sylvia Martinez Burgeno, Jaime Martinez (Lilliana), Beatriz Arreola (Francisco), Maribel Martinez and Mark Martinez (Paola); his 31 wonderful grandchildren and 17 dearest great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2022, with a Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at St. Jude Catholic Church. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:45 AM, Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
