Francisca C. Reyes, 102 yrs , passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

Francisca was born in Gibson, NM on June 4, 1924 to her father Jose De La Luz Corral and Maria Alatorre. She was the youngest of three sisters. She was the daughter of a miner and a homemaker. Francisca worked as a textile operator for 35 years where she learned and fell in love with sewing which led her to a life of making clothes for her entire family. She was a big believer in do it yourself projects. Anything from crocheting, baking and knitting. Francisca never learned to drive so she walked everywhere she went and rode the bus.

Francisca is preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Maria Corral, her sisters: Victoria Lopez and Socorro Rivera as well as her husband Enrique Reyes. She leaves behind a beautiful family comprised of her daughters: Esther Reyes, Irene Reyes and Martha Reyes and her son Reymundo Reyes. She also leaves behind a beloved granddaughter, Betty Reyes, as well as a beloved grandson, Jaime Merjil. She leaves behind a great granddaughter: Veronica Sanchez as well as two great grandsons: Rian and Jason Merjil. She also leaves behind two great great granddaughters: Amari and Sofia Sanchez, and a great great grandson: Leo Sanchez.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, October 26, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N.Carolina. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday 27, 2026 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 12200 Vista Del Sol Dr. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery
