Francisca Castellon

Francisca Castellon “La Chica Fresa”, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 18, 2025. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and will be dearly missed. Francisca is preceded in death by her husband: Feliciano Barba, her parents: Ireneo and Agustina Castellon, her daughter: Maria Magdalena Heredia, as well as her sisters: Rosario, Candelaria, and Julia Castellon. She is survived by her children: Olga Bustamante, Francisco Barba, Gerardo Barba (Leticia), Angelica Banuelos (Victor), and Martha Vega (Gerardo), 18 grandchildren, as well as 34 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

Pallbearers include: Sergio Heredia, Jorge Heredia, Gerardo Heredia, Luis Bustamante, David Vega, Daniel Banuelos, and Alberto Barba. Honorary Pallbearers include: Gerardo and Francisco Barba.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:45am at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd.
