Francisco Chavez

Francisco Chavez, age 78, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. Francisco was a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents; Rosario Chavez and Carmen Urrutia; his dearest son; Francisco Chavez Jr.; and his siblings; Ramon Chavez, Miguel Chavez and Maria De Jesus Chavez. He is survived by his loving wife; Yolanda Parra Chavez; his children; Jose Antonio Parra and Donna Lynn Abeyta; his siblings; Raul Chavez, Rosario Chavez, Jose Chavez, Carmen Bacquera, Lydia Moreno, Juana Chavez and Consuelo Marrufo; his grandchildren; Alexis Parra, Brianna Parra and Jose Antonio Parra Jr.; and his great grandchild; Aniyah Naomi Kenion. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

A Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, Tuesday, August 19, 2025 with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
