Frank Cullinan Baker

Frank Cullinan Baker, 89, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009. Born in Solomonville, AZ August 27, 1920, he served for 30 years in the USArmy as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. A graduate of Park College with a BBA in Economics, he retired from the military in 1972 and began a career in real estate management in El Paso. Although he suffered from osteoarthritis for most of his life, he maintained a positive outlook and an uncomplaining nature. His life was centered on his family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Hair, and his son-in-law, Maurice Heller. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ryuko, whom he cherished every day of their lives together, his sons, Frank Baker (spouse Hannah), Thomas Baker (spouse Cristy), his daughters, Cheryl Heller and Patricia Ward (spouse Richard), his sister, Joyce Elliott (spouse Joe Bob), and six beautiful grandchildren who gave him immense joy, Sarah Heller, Meagan Heller, Lindsay Baker, Joshua Baker, Cindy Rodriguez and Belinda Barone. Graveside Service will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
