Fray P. Candelaria, 61, entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2026 in El Paso, TX. Fray is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo O. Candelaria and Margarita Perez. Brother, Hector Candelaria and sister, Veronica Martinez. Fray is survived by his beloved wife, Sofia Espinoza Candelaria. Sons, Fray Candelaria Jr. and Ricardo Adrian Candelaria. Brother, Ricardo Candelaria and sister, Eileen Jacquez. Fray was very loved and will always be missed.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at St's Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 673 Old Hueco Tanks Ave., El Paso, TX 79927. A Graveside will follow at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
