Frederic Francis Deeke Jr.

Frederic Deeke Jr passed away peacefully at the Texas State Veterans Home on May 29, 2026.

He proudly served n the Navy for 23 years. During his time in Spain, he met and married the love of his life Dora in 1974.

Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years. He is survived by his sister, Jeanne Savard (Ed) and his brother Lawrence (Sue) and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and say THANK YOU to his nurse Idayl and staff of Gentiva Hospice and to the staff at TSVH for their compassionate care.

Graveside services will be held at Ft Bliss National Cemetery on Aug 3 at 10:30 am.
