Frieda May Ward

FRIEDA MAY WARD went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the age of 79 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Howey and grandson Brandon Gonzales. She is survived by her husband Charlie Franklin Ward, their children Kathleen R. Ward, Donna Roberts and husband John, Charlie Robert Ward and spouse Krista Stephan-Ward, Sharon Gonzales and husband Frank, grandchildren John Roberts, Amy Roberts, Evan Gonzales, great-grandchildren Harper and Brooklyn Roberts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the hospice team Ellen, Manny, and Helen. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 2:30PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West, with Pastor Howard Bryan officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
