Gary Wayne Walker, 49, died Tuesday January 16, 2007 at Hospice Savannah. He was born in Clovis, New Mexico and lived in Savannah for eight years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Phillip Monumental A.M.E. Church. He was a former employee of Vinyl Lite Industries. Survivors are: Wife; Sharon Walker of Savannah, two sons; Tyrone Walker of Texarkana, TX, Jason Walker of Iraq, two step-daughters; Jaleah Shields and Sharicka Rice both of Savannah, three step sons; Clevon Brown, Antonio Brown, and Samuel Rice, all of Savannah, father William Herman Walker (Ceola) of El Paso, TX; mother, Urahlee Hodge of Clovis, New Mexico; brothers: Jeremy Earl Shaw, Kenny Hodge, John Michael Hodge and Eddy James Walker; sisters: Cheri Walker, Vicki Kyle Walker, Michelle Walker, Janet Lynn Walker, Eartha L. Hodge, Antoinette Hodge and Rosa Jean Walker. 11 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 - 9:00 pm, Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service at 9:00 am, Monday, January 29, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
