Gene Marcus Phelps, born on November 5, 2016, in El Paso, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2026.
Gene is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Lori Phelps; his sisters, Emma Eckard and Naomi Eckard; his Papa Phelps; and his aunt, Vanessa Jackson. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX 79904. A prayer service will take place at 2:00 PM that same afternoon. Family and friends are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
