Genoveva Alday

GENOVEVA ALDAY passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at age 81. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched, from Texas to Washington D.C. and beyond. Genoveva is survived by Jose Alday, her husband of 43 years; her sons Javier Alday and Jorge Alday and her brother Nasario Zapata. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 5:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4800 Byron. Interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland at 9:30 ET on Wednesday, July 19.
