George Ramirez

GEORGE GONZALO RAMIREZ passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the age of 87. George served our country proudly during World War II with the United States Army and was very patriotic. After the service, he worked for Goodyear Tire Company and American Airlines. He retired from American Airlines after 25 years of service. George was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and UTEP Miners. He loved his family, enjoyed gardening and nature, and was very fond of his pets and other animals. George was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Hazel Ramirez and Nadine Zenich, brother, Pete Ramirez, and grandson, Roderick Ramirez Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Isela L. Ramirez, daughter, Georgina Lobdell and husband, Chris Lobdell, his son, Roderick Ramirez and wife, Kimberly Ramirez, brothers, Daniel Ramirez and William Ramirez, sister, Rosa Guerrero, and grandchildren, Miranda Lobdell, Trevor Lobdell, Julia Ramirez, and Sophia Ramirez.
