George Alfred Ross

Obituary CW3 RET George Ross, loving father and Opa, passed away on April 1st, 2018, at the age of 71. He leaves behind his son and daughter, Patrick and Patricia. his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Nik and his 6 grandchildren Jasmine, Nick, Dimitri, Abraham, Annalise, and Amelia, and his loving partner, Candy. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marga Ross, in 2009. He was married to Marga for 41 wonderful years and is now reunited with her. He was a wonderful, honorable man who had a gentle heart and loved his family unconditionally. He will be remembered lovingly and missed tremendously by his family and friends. He was a true patriarch of the family and always showed strength, love, and loyalty. He served his country in the United States Army Air Defense for 20 years, and retired in 1986 at Fort Bliss, TX. He made El Paso his home for the remainder of his life, but he was always “Boston Strong”. Committal Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of George Ross. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
