Georgia Louise Burton

Georgia Louise Burton, was born on November 14, 1939 in Kerrville, Texas. She went to her eternal home on August 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Mildred Daniels, her brother, Joe Daniels, her niece, Mildred Nielsen and nephews; George Carter and Kavan McDowell. She is survived by her husband; James Arthur Burton, her sons; James Burton, Charles Burton (and wife Patsy Burton), and Troy Burton. Grandchildren include; Kristen, Briana, John, Jordan, James, Jamiah, Penelope, Larnell, Marcus, and Tyree. She will remain in the hearts of her sisters; Della Moore, and Havell Whitfield, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will miss you. She was a nurse for over thirty years. She was loved by all for her kind heart, benevolent nature, and joyous spirit. May our loved one rest in the peace of God's loving arms. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr.. Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am Friday, August 30, 2013 at Community Baptist Church located at 7801 Phoenix Ave. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm August 30, 2013 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home East.
