Georgia Ann Calhoun, age 85, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 24, 2026. She graduated from El Paso High School and married husband Grady in 1958. Together they raised four children and shared a beautiful life until Grady’s passing in 2002. Georgia was a devoted mother of four, as well as a wonderful daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a brilliant seamstress who taught herself upholstery and eventually owned her own fabric and upholstery shop. She also became a real estate broker, and she served on the El Paso Board of Realtors. She was talented and gifted in countless ways and she approached all that she set out to do with meticulous detail. Georgia was loved beyond measure by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by: her parents Arthur A. Weeks and Wilma A. Weeks, her husband Grady Frank Calhoun, her brother William Weeks and her grandson Kevin Calhoun. She is survived by her children: David Michael Calhoun, Gary Daniel Calhoun (wife Paula), Tery Lynn Garcia (husband Ray), and Debra Phillips (husband Cliff), her grandchildren: Brandon Carmona, Breeanna Carmona, Brody Carmona, Grady Calhoun, Timothy Calhoun, Jake Calhoun, Kyle Calhoun, Nathan Schami and Alyssa Schami, as well as her great-grandchildren: Jayden Bilodeau, Cheyenne Calhoun, Ava Calhoun, Raelee Calhoun, Levi Calhoun, and Lorelei Calhoun. She is also survived by many family members and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with her.
