Gilberto Rosales

July 29, 1931 — March 28, 2024

El Paso

Gilberto Rosales, 92, Korean War Veteran, entered into eternal rest on March 28, 2024 in El Paso, TX. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aurelia M. Rosales; daughter, Rose Judie Rosales; parents, Jose and Juana Rosales. Siblings, Lucio Romo, Tomas Sarabia, Maria Sargent and Clarita Rosales. Gilberto is survived by his loving sons, Gilbert J. Rosales, Francisco J. Rosales, John P. Rosales-Manriquez, Henry J. Rosales, Stephen J. Rosales and Raymond M. Rosales. Daughters, Maria T. Rosales-Villarreal, Gloria B. Rosales-Ingersol, Rebecca L. Wheeler and Bernadette Y. King. His siblings, Rick Rosales, and Susana Carreon. Also leaving behind 28 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren to honor and cherish his memory. Gilberto was very loved and will be dearly missed. 


A Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will follow at 10:15 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sisters of the Good Shepherd Monastery (8824 Old County Dr., El Paso TX 79907) and Sisters of Perpetual Adoration (451 Mockingbird Rd., El Paso, TX 79907).
