It is with great heartache that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother Glen Dora Sauls of Courtney, Texas on December 07, 2025. Glen was lovingly by her husband's side when she passed away peacefully.
Glen’s birth on March 13, 1953, was a blessing to our family. Our mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother was one of, if not the strongest and most caring women we’ve ever known, and our family was blessed to have her as our matriarch. Glen spent 72 wonderful years spreading love, kindness with everyone who crossed her path.
In 1971, she married Willie Allen Sauls and were married 54 wonderful years. Together they went on to have 2 children. When she passed, she had 2 children, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several extended family members.
In high school, Glen was in the band and played the Clarinet and graduated from Navasota High school. She went on to attend Prairie View A & M University and received her Bachelors degree in Business Management.
As her husband started the beginning of his 22 year career in the Military. Glen was a devoted military wife and willingly moved their family wherever her husbands career took him.
In 1979 , they bought their first home in El Paso as their forever home.
Glen D. Sauls started her career by becoming an Armed Correction Officer for the Federal bureau of prisons at La Tuna in Anthony, Texas right at the Texas New Mexico border. She went onto transfer to different part of federal government to work in civil service for the Military Department of defense, in Korea and eventually worked her way up and retired at Fort Bliss as GS 14 after 38 years working for the federal government.
Her true passion in life, was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she really enjoyed going on cruises and Vegas with her family.

We will never be able to fill the space left behind by our matriarch. She was the heart of our family — a loving, caring, and truly beautiful soul whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. To her husband, children, grandchildren she was a constant source of comfort, strength, and unwavering support. To her friends, she was a gentle presence, always ready with a warm smile, a listening ear, or a thoughtful word.
Her beauty shone far beyond appearances; it lived in the way she cared for others, the compassion she offered without hesitation, and the love she gave so freely. She created a home filled with laughter, understanding, and grace, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to guide us.
Though we mourn her loss deeply, we are forever grateful for the time we had with her and the incredible woman she was. Her spirit, kindness, and love will remain with us always.
