Gloria Lerma Rodriguez, of El Paso, Texas passed away Holy Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 80 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born September 21, 1937 in El Paso to Ramón and Elisa Lerma. She is survived by her husband, Fernando Rodriguez; son, Gilbert Rodriguez and wife Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez; daughter, Alicia Sachen and husband Chris; four grandsons, Ramón, Agustín, Jack and Paul; four sisters; three brothers; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 9:15 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta. Interment will follow at 10:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. She was very much loved, and her beautiful spirit and generous heart will be greatly missed. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations for funeral expenses can be made.
