Guy Hauptman

Guy Hauptman, age 83, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and will be greatly missed. Guy is preceded in death by his parents; Nathan and Sara Hauptman and his sister; Monique. He is survived by his wife Margie Hauptman, his children; Simeon Hauptman (Linda), Esther Zengerle (Buck), and Jacob Hauptman (Pam), as well as his eight grandchildren; Madison (Sergio), Lauren, Elise, Avery, Katelyn, Isaiah, Katherine, and William. He is survived by many extended family and friends that will cherish and honor his memory.

Guy had a zest for life; he was a consummate practical joker and a proud Marine. He found joy in the little things in life and wanted others to find that joy as well. He was a Broncos fan, loved playing cards, fishing, eating, and traveling. He was a “Hidden Child of the Holocaust” and was passionate about ensuring that the Holocaust would “Never Be Forgotten”.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:30AM at Congregation B’nai Zion, 805 Cherry Hill Ln, El Paso, TX 79912. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30PM, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
