Harold Aaron Peitzer

Harold Abraham Peitzer passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Harold was a proud veteran who served in the Armed Forces during World War II. Throughout his life, he touched many lives in the El Paso community and was a cherished member of the Jewish community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fanny and Jacob Peitzer, and his beloved son, Larry Michael Peitzer.

Harold is survived by his loving son, Jack Aaron Peitzer (Sandra); his brother, Herbert Peitzer; his daughter-in-law, Laura Peitzer; and his beloved grandchildren, Scott Peitzer, Tara Bloom (Richard), Lisa Peitzer Shaolnik (Sam), Ben Peitzer (Amanda), and Nathan Peitzer.

He is also survived by his cherished great-grandchildren: Alexandra Peitzer, Elizabeth Peitzer, Scarlett Shaolnik, Georgette Shaolnik, Brook Bloom, Micah Peitzer, and Dillon Shaolnik.

Harold will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, his service to his country, and the many lives he touched throughout his years in the El Paso community.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at B'Nai Zion Cemetery, 3915 Gateway West, El Paso, Texas, with military honors.
