It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Hedwig Beaver, a cherished mother, grandmother (Oma), and friend, who left this world peacefully of natural causes on March 18, 2026, at the remarkable age of 100. Born on New Year's Eve in 1925 in the charming town of Ansbach, Germany, Hedwig's life was a testament to grace and resilience.
Hedwig's journey through life was marked by a deep and abiding dedication to her family. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Rollie W Beaver Sr., with whom she shared a life together until his passing in 1988. Together, they raised their son, Rollie Beaver, who carries forward their legacy alongside Hedwig's beloved grandson, Brock Beaver.
A lifelong homemaker, Hedwig took immense pride in creating a warm home. Her love of travel was also a defining aspect of her life, as she delighted in visiting family members in Germany and California, cherishing these moments of connection and adventure.
Hedwig was an active and valued member of the Ft Bliss NCO Wives Club, where her kindness and dedication touched many lives. Her contributions to the community were a reflection of her character and the love she held for those around her.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home and the compassionate caregivers from Gentiva Hospice Care. Your kindness and support during Hedwig's final days were invaluable, and we are deeply thankful.
A service to honor Hedwig's life will be held on June 5, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ft Bliss National Cemetery, located at 5200 Fred Wilson Road, El Paso, Texas. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
In this time of remembrance, we find solace in the legacy Hedwig leaves behind through the lives of those she touched. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her. May her gentle soul find peace and her memory be a blessing to all.
