Heidi Lynn Taylor

On December 1, 1990, God sent one of his angels down to earth. Born to Michael and Linda Taylor, Sister to Jamie and Christine, Heidi Lynn Taylor completed the family of 5 in San Diego, California. Heidi was a vivacious child. Full of laughter, love and nonsense. She made us laugh with her goofy antics, loved her family immensely, and drove her older sisters bananas, while somehow simultaneously being their secret holder. She was everything that a little sister and youngest daughter was supposed to be. Heidi loved Panda Bears, Harry Potter (the only Hufflepuff in the family - which suits her perfectly), art, and music. She was brilliant, funny, and a fierce protector of her friends and family. 

Heidi was not only a wonderful sister and daughter, but an amazing Aunt to Antonio, Rudy, Chris and Beatriz Gomez and Sionis Barnes. She was that Aunt that you knew would spoil the heck out of the kids when she had the chance to because she loved them so much and just wanted to see them smile. 

Heidi was a loving and devoted wife to Peter Rivera. Most importantly, Heidi was the best mother to her earth side children, Hailey Peterson (born 2010) and Kaitlyn Rivera (born 2013). She loved her girls more than anything on this earth. Whenever you walked into the house, you could always find her joking around with the girls, getting into random arts and crafts together, or just lounging and relaxing together. Hailey and Kaitlyn were her Angels here on earth. Heidi had 3 boys waiting for her in heaven, Peter, Elijah, and Isaac (2016), whom she is now embracing and finally holding in her arms. 

On January 2, 2025, God called his angel back home. Heidi returned to her Lord’s Kingdom, at the age of 34. While we grieve the loss of her down here on earth, rejoice in the fact that she is now with her boys whom she desperately missed, whole and at peace with her Lord and Savior. 

Visitation will be from 12:00pm - 4:00pm with a Funeral Service to begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr.
