Herlinda H. Ramirez

Herlinda H. Ramirez, 82, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in El Paso to Eduardo and Senaida Hernandez, Herlinda grew up in a close-knit family with deep roots in her hometown. She later married the love of her life, Florencio Y. Ramirez Jr., with whom she shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and faith.

Herlinda is survived by her devoted husband, Florencio, and their four children: Florencio Ramirez III (Veronica), Sandra Garcia (Bobby), Danny Ramirez (Ron), and Melinda Ramirez. She was the proud grandmother of Nicole, Cassandra, Daniela, Robert, Gabriela, Buddi Eileen and Danni Rae. She is preceded in death by her loving parents; Eduardo and Senaida Hernandez; her beloved sisters; Martha Ledesma, Lucila Manzano, and Alicia Carreon

Known for her playful and spirited nature, Herlinda had a gift for bringing joy to those around her. She was silly and funny, always ready to play a joke or share a laugh. She loved arts and crafts, traveling, camping, and fishing—activities that reflected her creativity and adventurous spirit. Music was another of her joys, especially listening to her favorite ‘oldies’, which filled her home with warmth and memories. Her greatest treasure, however, was being with her family.

Herlinda will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, and the joy she brought into every room. Her family will miss her dearly but will find comfort in the many beautiful memories she leaves behind.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at San Pedro De Jesus Maldonado Catholic Church, 3000 Tim Foster St, El Paso, TX 79938. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:15 pm at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
