Hermina C. Mendez

Herminia C. Mendez, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 05, 2022. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and will be greatly missed. Herminia is preceded in death by her loving parents; Francisco Cordero and Librada Rios, and her husband; Sergio O. Mendez. She is survived by her children; Sergio C. Mendez and Rebecca Ann Peña, her brother; Larry Cordero, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10:00AM to 9:00PM, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, Mercantil Ave, Anthony, NM 88021. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 12:30 PM La Union Cemetery, 240 Telles St., Anthony, New Mexico.. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler.
