Hipolita T. Forrister

August 13, 1940 — September 23, 2026

With deep sorrow and profound gratitude for a life filled with faith, love, and devotion to family, we announce the passing of Hipolita “Pola” Forrister, who entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2026, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family.

Pola was a woman of remarkable strength, unwavering faith, and endless love for her children. She dedicated her life to her family and found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. Through life's challenges, she remained resilient and steadfast, always putting her family first.

Born in Progreso, Chihuahua, Mexico, Pola carried the memories of her hometown and her family roots close to her heart throughout her life. She was deeply devoted to her faith and found comfort in prayer, church hymns, and the friendships she formed through her church and the community.

Above all else, Pola was a loving mother whose greatest source of pride was her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, faith, compassion, and unconditional love.

Pola was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon Torres and Amalia Jimenez; her husbands, Luis C. Hernandez and Roy L. Forrister; and her beloved siblings, Berta Torres, David Torres, Bernabe Torres, Rosa Torres, and Rafael Torres.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Luis Arturo Hernandez, David Hernandez, Annette Medina, Albert Hernandez, and Lupita Garcia; their spouses; her grandchildren; her beloved siblings, Ramon Torres, Fidela Garcia, Antonio Torres, Isabel Torres, Arcadia Torres, and Rogelio Torres; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members; and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Her greatest accomplishment was not what she owned or achieved, but the family she loved and the children she raised.

In her final days, Pola was surrounded by family, prayer, music, and the comfort of knowing she was deeply loved. One of her greatest consolations was the certainty that her children loved her, and that love remained with her until the end.

While her family mourns her passing, they find peace in knowing that she is now free from pain and reunited with loved ones who preceded her in death.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the hospice team, clergy, friends, and all who provided support, comfort, and care during Pola's final journey.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
