Ida Hernandez

Ida Hernandez, age 62, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 10, 2022. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her parents, Albert Hernandez and Teresa Esquivel, her beloved daughter, Daisy Duran, and her favorite and only granddaughter Loren Duran. She is also survived by her siblings Albert Hernandez, Francis Ybarra, Linda Imai-Dixon and Steve Hernandez. 

Ida was an exceptional person. Friends and family knew her as the brightest personality in the room. She was caring and honest and left an impression on anyone she met. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing her.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with a Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 131 S. Zaragoza Rd.  A Graveside Service to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
