Ida L. Robinson

Ida (Edy) Robinson, age 102 was called home by our Lord on Monday June 6, 2022.

Edy was the daughter of Peter and Rose Helbling .  The Heblings operated a ranch SW of

Mandan North Dakota where Edy was born.  She was the third of five children and as a young

person, worked along side her brothers on the ranch.

After High School, Edy attended Business College in Fargo, N Dakota.  During these times she

Met Harold (Hal) Robinson who was in the US Airforce. They married and moved to Monahans,

Texas where Hal was in the insurance business.

Later they moved to El Paso and established Del Norte Auto parts which they ran successfully until

their retirement.  They were great travelers and literally “saw the world.”

Hal and Ida were always very generous and important to family members.  Visits to their home in El Paso

were always highlights for many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Edy was a devout Catholic and was always grateful for her many blessings.  She will long be remembered by her many El Paso friends and by parishioners of Most Holy Trinity Church.

Thank you to the Blessed Mary,  St. Joseph to St. Jude and all the saints  for their intersession to our Heavenly Father for Ida’s long life.

We love you Edy and will keep you in our prayers, please pray for us.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, with Rosary at 6:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 10000 Pheasant. Committal Service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. 5200 Fred Wilson
