Irene Marie Arden

Irene Arden lost her years long battle against multiple systems atrophy on January 14, 2023. 

She was born to RJ Arden and Sharlene Slack in Chicago Illinois in 1964. She showed her 3 children how to adapt and overcome so many difficulties in her life by moving forward through them with dogged determination and a smile. Her working years were spent in caregiving, and later counseling, those with physical limitations of their own. Irene was very proud of the advanced educational achievements she worked so hard to obtain in these career fields.

Irene was preceded by her parents, Eustolia Trujillo and most recently, a grandson, Angel.

Left behind to carry on her legacy are her husband Jorge Arenivas, sons Aaron (Nicole) Trujillo, David (Rocio) Trujillo and her daughter Zelina Trujillo (Javier Ramirez) grandchildren Aaron, Brooklyn, Xavier, Aleena, and her brothers Mark Arden and Matt (Kathy) Arden.

Gathering of Remembrance will take place from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with Prayer Service at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.
