Irene C. Muniz, age 59, was born on August 13, 1958 and passed away on June 23, 2018. She is predeceased by her parents, Manuel Cobos and Elisa Serrano Sanchez. She is survived by her husband, Jorge Antonio Muniz; sons, Damian Alvarez and Jorge A. Muniz Jr.; daughter, Elisa Muniz-Navarro; brother, Daniel Sanchez; sister, Hortencia Astorga; and seven grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place the following day at La Verdad Community Church at 12:30 p.m. Interment is at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
